Description

Book One of the McKay's. Slightly steamy sweet romance. Julie McKay hasn't been home for years, and there is a very good reason for it. However, it's too late to tell her father, he has died and left her with an astounding admission in his will. He not only adopted her years ago, but she is his real daughter, the first of four.

Nearly ten years ago, Julie left the McKay ranch, confused and surprisingly pregnant. Not wishing a shotgun wedding on the father of the child, she ran away. Now she must return, and not only that, she has to tell her daughter about her father. Will she lose Kellie in the process?

Getting to know Cade Weston is part of the return, and Julie is in for some surprises of her own.

Good idea, but poorly developed characters and plot make it a difficult read. This could due with some good editing and rewriting.

I was disappointed with this book. It could have been really good, had a good basic storyline, but it was all over the place. Towards the end, I caught myself skimming just so I could finish.

I gave it three stars because I loved the ideas and the story they made put together. The repetition made this book really hard to finish. If I had a ten second memory like a goldfish, it's definitely be on my re-read list.

Please find an Editor! Way too many continuity issues, punctuation and grammatical errors. A lot of redundant verbiage.
