Books that keep you on edge from start to finish are my favorite! Love love loved this book! It picks right up where the first one left off and while reading I was strapped in for the ride from start to finish. Can’t wait for book 3 in the Rochester trilogy as I’ve already preordered it!

These books have me on the edge of my seat! After the cliffhanger from the first book, I was hooked, but now that we have a second cliffhanger – I am obsessed! In the aftermath of the fire, Jane and Beau make it out alive, but once they find out that it was intentionally set, Beau’s immediate reaction is to push Jane away in order to save her. But Jane isn’t so easily pushed away, especially after all that she has overcome and has grown into her personality. This book mainly focuses on finding out who set the fire while also keeping Jane and Paige safe, but we start to get more breadcrumbs of clues as to who is behind everything as the book continues. We meet a new character, which happens to be Paige’s other uncle (on her mother’s side), and the relationship between him and Beau is interesting, especially in the cliffhanger of this book. In the end, Beau stands firm on sending Jane back to Houston in order to keep her safe, but at the end of this book, we find out that might not truly be the case – but the cliffhanger did leave me with TONS of new questions! Between the suspense and the twist and turns this series continues to make, I can’t help but read it in one sitting while on the edge of my seat, and I am dying to get my hands on the next book to get some answers! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The second book of the trilogy. Jane and Beau are as explosive as in the first book. Great pacing. Great romance. Wonderful family dynamics between Jane, Beau, and Paige. Great cliffhanger ending. There is plenty of suspense balanced with the romance aspect. Can’t wait for the final installment!

Wow, what a ride! My heart ached for Jane at the beginning of this book, and this author made me feel what she was feeling. This author made me feel for Jane throughout the whole book. I loved Beau’s possessiveness and protectiveness of Jane, but some of his decisions did frustrate me. Their push/pull dynamic was frustrating yet intense and steamy. The intensity, revelations, another mystery and my emotions in this book left me spellbound by the end! I can’t wait to read the third and final book in this trilogy after that shocking cliffhanger, and I definitely recommend this book/series! I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.

Woooow!!! Beau is life. Seriously. This book is soooo everything. Hot! I mean soooo hot. Picks up where book 1 leaves off. And the ending is an epic surprise. Cannot wait for book 3! I’m a little in love with Beau and Jane. *fans self* Highly recommend!!!
