The story was rushed, so it was pretty unrealistic. Not up to usual standards of this author.

I love books by the water. Most by ocean books are usually love story’s which I don’t care for. This was a very nice change thanks.k

I was enjoying the book until I got to the end & there wasn’t one. I feel really ripped off. I understand that she set the readers up to almost be forced to buy the next book. I won’t. This is a fool me once type of book, but you won’t get a chance to do it again. I definitely do NOT recommend buying this one.

Very good story, only wish her father came back.
  • Only the beginning

This was offered as a romance but it really is more of a cozy mystery, but the fact that Ariel was always dealing with setbacks and negativity made this less enjoyable as escapism for me. The fact that there is so much left hanging at the end is unsettling. The characters are nicely developed and the whole story feels very realistic. Not what I was looking for, though.
  • Repetitive, confusing

This was the first of this author’s books I’ve read and sadly will be the last. I can’t count how many times phrases were repeated, to the point that I had to re-read them to be certain I hadn’t erred! Just not the book, or author for me!

I really thought this book had some great possibilities at the beginning with a good central character and supporting characters. I felt the author let me down when a man came into the book who seemed to be saving the day on many levels. I was also disappointed that the story ended so quickly. I hate when authors decide to write a short story instead of a complete book with the intention of having the reader purchase more of their books hoping to get the complete story.
