Hott Shot

Quinn Hott, the scientist is forced to work a receptionist job at the Hott spa in order to fulfill his responsibilities to secure the Hott ranch for the family. Sonya Rossi, the spa manager is a super positive, people pleaser and unimpressed with grumpy Quinn, but maintaining the spa is important to her to secure the future of her employees. I loved the banter, the push and pull of two total opposites; and I really loved that Quinn and Sonya drew out the best in each other while trying to save the spa and overcome all the obstacles they encountered. There’s a happy ending… and you know who is up next in their grandfathers will, Shane.

This new series is off to a great start! I’m so glad we get to stay in Rush Creek and see some of the same characters from the Wilder Adventures series. The premise for getting all of Hanna’s brothers together and back home is crafty and I’m looking forward to seeing what hoops the rest of the men have to jump through. Quinn and Sonya are a great couple. They see both see the other more clearly than they (and others) see themselves and work well together.

First in a new series by Ms. Bell focusing on the Hott family, five brothers and one sister. This story introduces Quinn. He’s a brilliant scientist, CEO and owner of a successful company. But his life skills don’t include “peopling.” He and his brothers left Rush Creek as soon as possible after finishing school, each to find their future. Hannah, the only sister,was left with her Grandfather, and worked with him for years to accomplish her goal, Hott Spot Eternal Springs and Spa. When her grandfather passes away, all the brothers return for the funeral and reading of the will. Quite a scenario is revealed. Each brother has a task he must complete, exactly as written or their inheritance will be sold to a mining company, and devastating their sister. Quinn is first up, and cannot imagine how he will survive his task. He must act as receptionist for the beauty salon for 2 months, and the salon must make a profit. He meets Sonya Rossi, beautiful, extremely organized and loves her jobs. She realizes the predicament they are in, and does her best to survive. The first challenge, get Quinn to be welcoming and friendly. He assures her it’s not possible, but between her and her lovable dog, Gus, they work hard on him. Lots of changes begin to happen. A very enjoyable rom com, and looking forward to the next, wondering who the next brother will be!

This is the first book in the Hott Springs Eternal series. I absolutely loved Serena Bell's other series, Wilder Adventures... (if you haven't read about the sexy Wilder brothers... oooh you're missing out!!! Each book follows a different Wilder brother but they also can all be read as standalones!) Now onto Hott Shot... I adored this book and devoured it in one day, staying up late to finish it. It follows the story of grumpy, sexy Quinn, a scientist who is forced back home to his small town because of stipulations from his grandfather's will. He meets Sonya, a perky salon/spa manager and the sparks fly! This is a slow burn with forced proximity (I freaking love some forced proximity!!) and spice... oh there's spice! There's a scene where Sonya gives touch-starved Quinn a haircut and beard trim and its sooooo good! The chapters go back and forth from Sonya and Quinn's perspectives, which I love, because you get to see into both their mindsets as they're falling for each other. Perfect amount of spice and romance! 5 sexy little stars!

WOW. HOTT SHOT, the first in Serena Bell’s Hott Springs Eternal series, is going to make you smile and make your heart sing. (Probably not literally, but YMMV…) Quinn Hott and his four brothers are called back to Rush Creek for their grandfather’s funeral. They and their sister, Hanna, are then confronted with the unusual terms of their grandfather’s will and the lengths he’s gone to get them to jump through his hoops even after his death. Sonya Rossi manages the spa at Hott Springs Eternal, and is accustomed to being the caretaker. What she isn’t used to is letting others take care of her. Serena Bell’s characterizations and storytelling are stellar as usual. Quinn and Sonya discover the other might seem totally unlike themselves but that whiff of attraction really does flare into a conflagration with just a little time together and a shared goal…. And all the emotional notes also resonate. Hott Shot is a terrific grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, temporary roommates to more story that launches this new series beautifully. I loved getting glimpses of the Rush Creek characters we first meet in the Wilder Adventures series, and can’t wait to get to know the rest of the hot Hott brothers!

A new series by one of my favorite rom com authors! If you have read any of Serena Bell’s stories you will love this!

This is a great start to a new series. It was a fun read that I devoured in one day. I enjoyed that not only were Quinn and Sonya forced to work together, but they were also forced to live together. I loved seeing them be vulnerable with one another and truly get to know each other. Quinn and Sonya were so sweet together. You can feel their connection and chemistry. I am looking forward to the rest of the Hott brothers' stories. I can't wait to watch them come back together and develop the family connection that they had with each other and their sister Hanna when they were kids.

Totally enjoyed this steamy rom com set in the Wilder universe and am looking forward to the rest of the series! I definitely want all of the chemistry themed shirts too!

Great complex character development, realistic internal and external conflicts, sexy times to wake up certain body parts and a fabulous over arching plot to carry through the contiguous series. A highly recommended story and upcoming series. Enjoy!

Dual POV Wilder appearances Precious dog Simply delightful I AM SO HAPPY. I loved Wilder Adventures and the Wilder brothers + their heroines, so naturally I was sad to be leaving Rush Creek. But Serena has blessed us with a NEW family staring Hanna’s brothers, aka the Hott Brothers! This is the first in series featuring Quinn Hott, a scientist, and Sonya Rossi, a spa manager. All of the siblings are summoned for their grandfather’s will reading, where Quinn gets the first letter—requiring him to work the front desk of Hott Spot, the spa Sonya manages. It’s a grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, forced proximity, living under the same roof in a nosy small town where the brothers left years ago for various ventures. My only issue is HOW LONG UNTIL SHANE’S BOOK??!!
