Every now and then, if I'm lucky, I encounter a book that pulls me so completely into its world that i don't want to leave. This book did that so thoroughly that I was ecstatic to find an extra chapter at the end of this digital version. And then I didn't want that to end either... Great book. Magical and special.

I loved American Gods and wasn't expecting to like Anansi Boys as much, but I think I liked it even more. Like usual, I felt swept up into this world that Neil Gaiman is so great at creating and I wished the book didn't have to end!

This was my first read by this author. I actually really liked his style of writing, I just wish I would have felt more fulfilled when finishing the book. I felt like the many stories had interesting plots, but they never came together in a way I was hoping for. Not to say it was not an entertaining read, just not quite my thing. To each is own though!
