I have always loved children and desperately wanted to find a Christian man to marry. I prayed for years and trusted that God had a plan. I married at 40 to a Christian! Due to health issues, I was not able to have children. At age 54, I became a mother! We fostered a sibling group of 3 for four years and were approved by the Adoption Committee to adopt them. Sad to say that the single mother regained custody of the children due to the failure of the Guardian ad litem to represent our precious babies. During all of this turmoil a 15 month girl was placed in our home for adoption. We adopted her on November 5th, 2004 and our other babies were returned to their Mother in October 2006. We grieved for a year but never lost faith. All the girls are now in college and our son is a teenager and has lost his way. We remain in touch and our daughter tells that every time she sees or talks to the girls they always tell her that my husband and I are their true parents and that they know their lives would have been better with us. All we can do is continue to lift them up in prayer. To all adoptive or potential adoptive parents, continue to pray and trust that God has a plan far greater for us than any plan we put together. Losing a child/children is heartbreaking no matter the circumstances but the love and memories never fade!

I love every facet of this book. It’s Christian based and filled with many different emotions! You really get to know the characters. The author does a great job developing their characters to where you feel as though you know them. Suspense. Drama. Love. It has it all. Loved this book and the movie. I definitely recommend.
