Spoiler Alert…. “First, that Rachel never sent her pleas for help and second, that the truth they reveal no longer matters. Discuss why the letters never posted and what happened to Rachel in those two years.” Seriously? The author drug out the story for that long, and now the reader has to determine the ending? WTH. Ugh.

I could not put this book down! What a series of twists and turns and a very surprising ending.

Awesome read

I rarely leave reviews, but this was just such a tired, overused plot with so many holes. The narrative was carelessly threaded together with supposed “letters” that went nowhere. I felt obligated to finish it because I paid for it. Never again. My time is worth something. Might be ok if you’re snowed in or camping or something.

The book started out interesting. However, lots of twist and turns that lead no where!!! I love surprise endings but this is a very weird and unfinished ending. I’ve read some other of this authors books and have enjoyed. Just not this one.

Slow to start but Oh! The ending.

Wow— I thought I had figured out the plot, but with all the twists and turns— I wasn’t expecting that 😉

As a fan of Ruth Ware’s work, I was very disappointed in this book. There are so many loose ends, nothing is explained, and the ending is so weak. Not her best at all.

I really enjoyed this novel. However, there were so many twists that by the time the most significant twists were revealed, I had already suspended my sense of reality. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed this book.

The last few paragraphs of this book were EVERYTHING. Jaw-dropper, absolutely puzzling! Read this book!
