In the girl there is a darkness.

Margo is not like other girls. She lives in a derelict neighborhood called the Bone, in a cursed house, with her cursed mother, who hasn’t spoken to her in over two years. She lives her days feeling invisible. It’s not until she develops a friendship with her wheelchair-bound neighbor, Judah Grant, that things begin to change. When neighborhood girl, seven-year-old Neveah Anthony, goes missing, Judah sets out to help Margo uncover what happened to her.

I want to be Margo when I grow up, she is the embodiment of psycho boss girl energy. I love her vengeance. This book gave me life. It felt like I was reading a journal, not fiction. Top 5, right here.

Left me thinking every time I had to put it down, and surprised every time I picked it up. Margo will stay with me as a reminder of resilience and self-confidence. Loved it.

This is one of those books you just can't put down. Margo is bent and so close to broken, but you understand why and can't help but feel her pain. Killing is a coping mechanism for her psychosis. She needs to feel control. Write the screen play.

Tarryn has outdone herself again. Every time I turned the page I was completely shocked all over again. This has to be the best book I have read all year. I loved it. I loved how she tied Mud Vein into this book. It made everything so much better. I can't imagine this book being any better. It was perfect. I would recommend reading it. You won't be wasting your time.
