Garrett is the bomb! Loved its story and thank you for the epilogue!

This was a great book. Another unique story line! I also really enjoyed that the end has a flash forward decades down the line and you find out what happened to the characters. That was a great way to end the book.

Honestly, I never leave reviews, but after seeing all these great ratings, I just have to chime in. I feel like I read a completely different book. The story line was just okay -- nothing outstanding, really. The editing, though? Gah. For the love of all that is good and pure in this world, hire an editor. Have your book read by a professional who has a basic sense of grammar and punctuation. The ellipses were KILLING ME. Incorrectly using "that" instead of "who"? That's basic stuff, man. And if I read "bone-melting" one more time, I would have thrown my iPad out the window, gone outside, come back inside, and threw it out the window again. Maybe I'm picky, because I expect the books I take the time to buy and read to, at least, meet high school grammar and punctuation standards. Yikes!

That's the ultimate question Olivia has to ask herself. Her relationship with Garrett isn't a conventional one. It starts out as a no strings attached but develops into a loving relationship that neither of them have ever had. This book is AMAZING!

Another hit by Sawyer Bennett. Seeing Garrett grow from the ultimate playboy you get a glimpse of in Alex and in the beginning of this book, to the man who falls in love - it makes for a great story. Garrett has enough trouble with the fact he is only wanting one woman but add in that she has cancer, and he really doesn't know what to do. But the scene where he goes to her treatment, man, it will melt your heart. Love this book, every single thing about it!

Though she turned him down the first time, she quickly changes her mind. Life is short and maybe even shorter for her, so why pass up the opportunity for an amazing one-night stand. But will one night be enough for Garrett? This is the second book in the Cold Fury Hockey Novel series and I am blown away! Such fantastic writing by Sawyer Bennett. This author took me to places I wasn't ready for but I'm so glad I went. There is more depth to Garrett than I imagined. He was a good guy before but now I might be a little in love. He's thoughtful, caring, sweet and romantic but behind closed doors, watch out! He is sexy as hell, he likes it how he likes it and makes no apologies for it. Behind all the beautiful people and amazing sex, the story is so touching. I laughed...a lot! There were some happy tears and many TRAGIC, so, so sad tears that were cried during this book. But most of all, the epilogue BLEW ME AWAY! When you get to the end, just before you read the epilogue, take a minute, breathe and then start reading again. I loved all the books. Alex, zack waiting for Ryder. Garrett hit home. I had breast cancer and reading it through tears and laughter was such a true feeling. All the books we're special in their own story. Thank you.

One of Bennett's best books to date. I cried quite a bit reading Garrett's story. I was just so in love with him that it emotionally gutted me when things didn't go his way. It's a story about his love interest Olivia beating the odds. But even more you see Garrett, who's well known for his man-whoring ways, open his heart and find love and then has to fight not only the real possibility of losing her to death but also because she thinks she's saving him from pain if she just cuts him loose. Stupid, stupid woman. It was breaking my heart. You've got to read this book. And though there are characters from the first book in the series, Alex, that continue on in this book I would say you could read Garrett as a stand alone. Of course you get a taste of the character Zack who's book is coming soon. Sooooo, you should probably just read them all like me.
