I found this book confusing and odious in relating the historical aspects. Loved the love stores.....however fleeting.

To be honest I’m not a reader but after reading her Rose Garden book I just couldn’t help myself and bought the Firebird. I ended up forgetting the book at work today with just 5chapters to go so I came here to buy an ebook. That’s how great this book is! You just can’t put it down.I’m starting to think I’m a sucker for romance novels😅

It's part love story, part historical fiction and part fantasy. I love how she develops the characters and weaves the stories across time. I have read this one at least three times and will likely make it an even four soon. Definitely worth the read, and while it's better if you've read The Winter Sea first, it can stand alone.
