Morgan and her adorable three year old son, Colby, are starting over from scratch, other than the few items she could pack up in the ten minutes she was allowed inside her former home. Determined to start fresh and live their best lives, they move in with her brother until she can get a job and get back on her feet. Fast forward a few months and she finally finds their perfect home rented to her by none other than Mr. Grumpy with all the tattoos. Callen.. my sweet, broken Callen. I seriously just wanted to reach through my kindle and hug that man stupid lol. My heart broke and made my eyes leak a bit when reading about his past and why he feels so undeserving of love. This man had the biggest heart and I just loved everything about him. Especially his relationship with Colby. Seriously, your ovaries will explode! POOF! Matson’s writing is impeccable with how she unfolded their stories and meshed their lives together. I know I’ve read a great book when I find myself lost in the author’s words and can place myself in their story.
