I have found a new author to read. I notice with trying authors that are new to me but old to others is awesome. I find her writing style great and smooth in her premise. Her characters really came together in this novel and I am looking forward to reading her next new novels.

My Last DS 288 page predictable read. Feels like another stamped out read. I long for the DS books with rich characters and 350-400 pages.

Loved it as I love ALL DS books. In all her books, I get to see and live through her characters as if I’m right there. Pure getaway!

2/3 of book was great then she changed the character’s who were the focus. It was awkward to say the least. Then another flip and finally back to main character. The ending was rushed as well. I paid full price for this book for 288 pages and it was disappointing. Currently reading worthy opponents also 288 pages it’s fine so far. But the details are missing and the focus on minor characters in here recent books indicate her editor not doing their job. I put this second book on my bookbub wish list and it was half price. Look into bookbub great deals.
  • Worst wedding vow ever written

My first and last Danielle Steele book. It was pretentious, stilted, and lacked authenticity. The one line that ran numerous times throughout the book in the form of a wedding vow was the worst vow ever written. By the en, I was praying that she wouldn’t repeat it again! In a word, it was awful.

I always enjoy the storyline by Danielle Steele and I’ve probably read all her books, including her books from years and years ago. What changed drastically with the authors writing style, which I find really irritating is the constant rambling throughout the book, repeating the same content over and over again. Where are the editors? This should be obvious and corrected before publication.

A quick read, predictable, not one of her best.
