Piper works at her brother’s sheriff office as a dispatcher. She has accrued too many sick and vacation days so her brother demands that she take a vacation. Piper’s sister-in-law makes a reservation for her at a lodge that also doubles as a wedding venue. Gray runs that lodge. Though their meeting happened before Piper even made it to the lodge. They share special moments together but Gray frightens easily due to his past. He ends up pushing Piper away. This was amazing book with overprotective brothers on both sides.
