Had I been around during the time of this book's first publishing. I would've called him crazy. Since I was born during a modern era and can look back upon the work. I'll say that his information is about 101 years ahead of his time. It wasn't written for their time. With that being said. It solidifies his status as an ancestor of a great wisdom and validates who he presented himself as years ago. How does a self proclaimed fool, know what he has spoken of, without the help of someone or something greater than himself? He's speaking of human grafting (genetics), one hundred years before any of us would ever hear of it. I don't know what else to say other than he spoke the truth BECAUSE, over time, it has been proven. Even down to the grafting back to black and creating monkeys. I just read scientific studies that prove this fact just recently. He said this almost 100 years ago. Again. Proven true!
