Eerie, uncomfortable and yet, couldn't stop reading.

This was the first book by Gardner that I had ever read. It was interesting and I just couldn't stop reading it. I was uncomfortable reading at time, especially when the little boy would reminisce about his abuse and rape. It was grotesque and made my stomach churn. It scared me to think people are actually this evil and there are real burgerman in the world. Interesting read.
