This book was yet another exciting, adventure & magic-filled acceleration into Jordan's wonderful world. I am in love with the depth of each character, the growth's we get to witness & the plotting/scheming setting up more to come for the heroes & villains. Egwene, Elayne, Nyneave as always are my faves - but Rand's growth as a leader was also pretty cool to see. The ending was an epic fight & cannot wait to see this adapted to Amazon's Wheel of Time show in the future, hopefully Season 4!

I thought this book was incredible. It moves at a fast pace and so much that was promised happens. I love seeing the Black Tower in its power, Rand and his treatment are surly going to be met with ferocity, seeing Naynaeve stretch her abilities was incredible and seemed destined to happen. Some of the relationship stuff in this book is a bit cringy but overall this was excellent.

Mr. Jordan took us on another roller coaster ride that brought excitement in one moment, and despair in the next, in a world where intrigues, magic, violence, valor and friendship created a fascinating story. Unto the next one!

I have read this series before this is my second time through. There are time when the entire series slows but it’s in those detail oriented sections that you see how truly entwined all these characters are and it’s during those time that’s you read details you didn’t think were important until two books later. This is my all time favorite series and I have started reading it to my son.

I am reading the series now, and I would agree with other reviewers that sometimes the story gets bogged down in detail that seems to me to not be that important. That is not to say that I haven't enjoyed the series, after all I have read six books.

Probably the best of the first ten in the series. Incredible depth of characters and elaborate thought processes without taking away from things like dialogue and environmental detail. Well done

Six books into the story I think I know things such as Min has visions or that warders wear color-shifting cloaks. Each book is written as if it were the only one. The editing is also quite poor; too many punctuation and spelling errors. All that aside, I'm enjoying the series and anxious to see where it goes next.
