This book is a very quick read. It very hard to put down. Much more action packed then Hater (the first part to the book) but I do recommend reading Hater first it helps with this book.

Dog Blood was a great read. I recently finished the first book in this series, Haters. I would definitely recommend reading that book first. The books are unique in that you are mostly following one of the "Haters", Danny. You are seeing into his world through his murderous eyes and finding out what drives his homicidal part of the population to seek the "Unchanged" inhabitants of their world and destroy them. The descriptions of the fighting, survival and violence are horrifying and captivating. If the world were divided, as it is in Danny's world, you might have, in fact wound, up as a "Hater" yourself. Drawn in by the character you find yourself sympathizing with him and trying to imagine yourself in his position. I am hoping that a third book is in the works as the author leaves you wanting more.
