It wasn’t so bad that I had to put it down, but it also wasn’t so good that I couldn’t put it down.
Too Much “Southern Sass” for me

Maybe I was just not in the mood for this book. Even though I thought the author did a good job telling the story of the dysfunctional family through the years, I just didn’t like them. Having been raised in the south didn’t help a bit either.

Just reread Sullivan’s Island and it was even better than the first time! Everyone please read it….it’ll make you laugh, cry and make you mad…all the ingredients of a perfect book. Trust me!

It just opens and opens and opens up on life, love, thoughts, giving and sharing. I don’t remember when I enjoyed a book so much!
Excellent read! Loved the vivid story telling and Southern island history.

One of the vest books I’ve read in years. Easy
to read impossible to put down. The story of a family which will both break your heart and fill it with hope for a future in which dreams do come true!
Excellent read!

Great summer read. Loved everything about this book. One I could not put down. Sad now I’m through trading it. Would love a sequel?

I thought I had read every book of Doretha Benton Frank, not this one. What a great read. Everyone should have a Livii in their life.
