This book is like a warm southern hug. Whether you are from the Carolina’s or Connecticut, by the end you are a part of this world. I loved the richness of Miss Lavinia and The strength she gives to her friends and family. I’m only sorry that I have finished the book. I would just love to see how Caroline makes the plantation her own.
Slow start turned to great book

I had a lot of trouble committing to this book right at the beginning. Fort, that didn’t last long, & I soon found myself with this book in my hands constantly in my hands. My only concern was the size of the font being quite small. But the storyline was so compelling. I loved it!

I love reading Ms Frank's books but this one is one of my favorites. Well written & truly makes you feel you have an understanding of the love of this beautiful place.

I have read this book quite a few times. It is funny & sad at the same time. Every time I read it, things come up that remind me of my late grandmother...some of her sayings & actions. It & the next book, Lowcountry Summer, are fantastic summer reading, yanh!
Great Read!

I have read several of Ms. Frank's books and enjoyed each one. Plantation is by far the best.
