Description

As former D.C cop Mace Perry investigates a mysterious high-profile homicide in a last-ditch attempt to get her badge back, she finds herself on a collision course with the dark side of national security in this New York Times bestseller.

Mason "Mace" Perry was a firebrand cop on the D.C. police force until she was kidnapped and framed for a crime -- and then spent two years in prison. Now she's back on the outside and focused on one mission: to be a cop once more.
Her only shot to be a true blue again is to solve a major case on her own. But even with her police chief sister on her side, she'll have to work in the shadows: A vindictive U.S. attorney will stop at nothing to send Mace back to jail. Enter Roy Kingman . . .

A young D.C. lawyer, Roy meets Mace after the murder of one of the firm's female partners. Soon Roy and Mace are investigating together -- and uncovering surprising secrets from both the private and public sectors of the nation's capital.

A page turner I could not put down. Bought the book online when the library downloaded version ran out of time.....now that is a vote! Hope you do not get hit by a bus any time in the next forty years, sir - I am watching for your next one.

I usually enjoy this author, but I was very much disappointed with True Blue. The story just didn't go anywhere, and it was a slow read. I have not given up on his books, just did not enjoy this one

All his spy books are the best reads!!!!!! I have not read one I did not like of DB.. I have read all of them now and can't wait for the new one in 2013!!!! This book was awesome!!! David Baldacchi is an incredible spy thriller writer.. . Lots of research done and not a lot of fill in with over-descriptions, like so many other writers.... You can't put it down!!! It grabs you right from the start...

We've been enjoying DB's books for quite awhile - since the first Camel Club story. Now I'm carefully trying to remember titles so's I can buy another without having already read it: a problem with ebooks, no dead tree copies lying around as reminders, and senior moments. Off topic. True Blue is smooth reading, with nice plot twists and a couple surprises where you might think you have it figured out, but don't. Enjoy.

Very good story and although the good guys come out 'winners' there is more happening. It does not wrap up all the loose ends and is a little ambiguous about what the 'bad guys' were really doing and how it all worked out for them. I'd like to see Mace developed more in subsequent books.

It is very irritating to see lot of pages going waste just increase the volume of the book sometimes it seems that the he is more conscious about how to finish the chapter rather then concentrating on the theem and the plot of the book.He is my favorite writer I wish he produces books like Absolute Power,Simple Truth

I am a long time Baldacci fan, so I was really pleased to see a title I hadn't read... But this was really a cheeser and a huge disappointment.
