This was my first “extreme horror” book. I wanted to see how the genre would make me feel. I really enjoyed the dynamic of our leading ladies in the beginning, but it starts to trail off near the end… they just seem too different, too fast? The story has a noticeable “ramp up” point as well, felt a little rushy. Anyway, the writing was really entertaining, the scenes made muscles clench I didn’t even know I had, and I think it ended gracefully esp. for horror. My biggest gripe is there were a few grammar/spelling errors that really took me out of the emersion, BUT this is an indie book!!! You can’t expect the same quality as someone with 15 proof readers and editors. Overall really nasty, hated it, highly recommend.

Depending on who you are this is either gonna be really good, or really bad ; and even if it’s really good, it’s still really bad. See for yourself.

I knew this book was not going to be up my alley but it’s a terrible car wreck you can’t help but finish.

one of my favorite splatterpunk books i’ve ever had the (dis?)pleasure of reading. it captures the worst of the modern queer experience in a really compelling way.
