An engaging story of a woman , who, while struggling to find her true happiness, becomes obsessed with discovering the identity of the lovers in the message in a bottle which she found in the ocean.Mia Kent’s magical descriptions of the physical beauty of the setting as well as the emotions of her characters is riveting. Awesome writing!

This is one of those maddening books that doesn’t end, but sets you up for the next in the series. Want to know the rest? Buy another book. My guess is that book will do the same thing. No thank you, Ms Author. Write a good enough book & I’ll buy more because I like your writing. But, trying to FORCE me & that answer is no thank you!

I absolutely loved this book. The way that it ended was perfect and got me hooked to read the rest of the series! 💖✨

A possible second chance story?

Using a cliff-hanger is an unprofessional ploy to sell more books when the author believes her writing skill is not sufficient. This underhanded tactic depends on the reader’s curiosity rather than the author’s creativity to entice readers to buy the next book. Her writing is adequate and she should not degrade herself by using such schemes. But because she has made this choice I choose to delete her from my list.

I got sucked in. I love the premise, the island, the characters. I would have loved more. An ending to at least one plot line.

I enjoyed the mid life reality and forks in the road and the bonus love story but still leaves as a cliffhanger

Very simple story line. I enjoyed reading about the island and wishing I could find a place as quiet and laid back

Storyline ok it has too many cliffhanger you have to read the next series not my cup of tea.

Just such an emotional love story of many people. Was heartening and refreshing.
