Very insightful and such a good story. The twits leave you in shock. Although some are obvious the ending was not. Such a good read.

Absolutely loved! Had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. The story is intense. So we’ll written.

I have read all of this author‘s books and I found this one to be a tougher read due to subject matter but it was very well written as always. I love that she sheds light on true historical events to educate her readers- it breaks my heart to think that children lived and probably still do in these conditions. I found myself frustrated at times but realize she had to build the story and show the depth of despair, I just wanted it over with. Look forward to the next book!
