Disappointing

While it was a joy to visit with Lando and Luke, the story took tooling to coalesce and mature. Once it did, it was, at times, confusing despite also being predictable. More, it was difficult to read (reconcile) about Luke in this story in light of the version of Luke we were given in The Last Jedi. Furthermore, it was surprising to read a story so engaged with Luke and Lando without some measure of Leia and Han being mentioned. How is it Luke or Lando don’t mention them? At all?
This book is certainly worth a read but I can’t envision me ever reading this again. Disney still seems unable to capture the written magic we all enjoyed from the authors who wrote the, now, “legends”stories.
