I like Josie silver’s style of writing and enjoyed this story, about the island and the weather etc. I remember during the first book I read by her, I was more hung up on “what’s going to happen next?”. Reading this book, I kind of felt I could predict what would happen next- but I enjoyed it still.

After falling head-over-heels for One Day in December, this one fell short of my hopes. I kept reading because it has a good message and some cute moments, but it didn’t have any magic for me.

Not as good as her other books. Felt a bit repetitive with Mack’s negative feelings from his childhood. Finished it because I paid money for it.
  • Magical read

This book is magical ✨ Josie silver truly accomplishes transporting you to another place, a land you can lose yourself for hours reading about. Salvation island is filled with love, spirit, and spunk. Mack and Cleo scenes are beautiful, romantic, natural. Their love story is genuine and honest. But it’s not the most important relationship in the book. This book is about self love, uncoupling, parenting, and finding your place in the world and it is just spectacular!
