This book was EXCELLENT! I fell in love with it immediately. I couldn’t put it down and need more in the series now. It was laugh out loud funny, had heartwarming and realistic family dynamics, multiple strong female characters and a swoon worthy male lead. What more could you need in a romance?! I’m usually a dark and brooding book boyfriend type but fell for the light hearted and unbelievable kind and sweet Hugh. I 10000% suggest this book if you want a funny, sweet and full of sexual tension read. Definitely one of my favorite reads of the year.

4 Stars! This was a really cute historical rom-com that is the first in a new series ‘The Merriwell Sisters’ and can be read as a standalone, with a HEA ending. Although I found some of it completely unbelievable, I still really enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend it! It was fun, with a few twists and had me smiling quite a bit. I wish it had an epilogue because I can’t stop thinking about how the story will continue & if Hugh’s friend and Minerva’s sister are the next couple!? I loved Minerva & Hugh, even if I wanted to slap him at times.(Which would be difficult to do, seeing as he’s a fictional character!) I look forward to reading the rest of the series and hope they come out soon! *I received this book at no charge & I voluntarily left this review.*
