I enjoyed this book the plot twists and chapter development are outstanding.

I couldn’t put this book down. This is the kind of book you’d want to read again and again. I loved the story line in this book, it holds your interest from beginning to end. The characters are so real. I especially loved how Thomas and Andy, dad and 7 year old son fell in love with Jamie the nurse who doesn’t put up with Thomas’s attitude. I can’t wait to read the next book in this Debra Holts series. My first time reading this author but definitely not my last.

I’m partial to books written about Texas & this was a pretty good one. Very, very predictable, but still enjoyable.

With the perfect touch of suspense to keep the story moving along, and culminating with the perfect timing to set the stage for the next stage of the couple’s journey, this author has completely captured the essence of romance. I absolutely loved this book. Jamie was such a fun character who had trauma and baggage from her past but built a life despite that just has to learn to love and trust. I loved the verbal sparring between her and Thomas. I really loved how this book created such relatable characters that despite their faults you find yourself rooting for. And who could help but fall in love with Thomas’ sweet little boy.

Oh how I loved this story! If you enjoy feeling right along with the feelings of the characters, you have got to read this one. You’ll experience all the ups and downs, feel the loves and tears while you read. Every character only added to the deep emotional journey that you go on right along with them. My heart was so taken with this story that I absolutely hated getting to the end. It is one of those stories that will have you wanting to read the book over and over again.
