Loyal as a wolf—and just as strong and untamed—three solitary heroes are about to meet their perfect partners, in this thrilling collection from a trio of New York Times bestselling authors . . .

COLORADO COWBOY by DIANA PALMER

Fleeing her mother’s killer, Esther Marist ends up at a rugged stranger’s cabin. A wildlife rehabilitator with a menagerie that includes an elderly wolf, Matthews isn’t the type to turn any creature away. As Esther heals, she realizes how much danger she’s brought to his door—and how far he’ll go to protect her.

THE WOLF ON HER DOORSTEP by KATE PEARCE

Beth Baker senses her grumpy summer tenant must be in trouble when his pet wolf shows up at her door, demanding she follow. Conner O’Neil, solitary and stubborn, doesn’t want Beth’s help—but only he can show her how to trust again.

RESCUE: COWBOY STYLE by REBECCA ZANETTI

Trent Logan has his ranch, his friends, and his wolf, and that's more than enough—until a shivering city girl runs into the Cattle Club to escape a Wyoming storm. Her eyes hold a world of secrets, and he’ll have to face the demons of his own past in order to save them both.

The first two stories were just ok. The characters were very predictable and not exciting to read. The last story deserves 4-5 stars. The writing is great and keeps you engaged and on your toes . The characters are interesting and keep you guessing what's next. I can def see more books to follow from that group in the story !

3.75* COLORADO COWBOY DIANA PALMER 3* Just a ok story. I liked the storyline and the characters but the story it’s self, was rather corny for me. THE WOLF ON HER DOORSTEP KATE PEARCE 3.5* I felt that I was missing some history is the story. Most likely this is a part of a series. Conner and Beth had good chemistry. Conner the wounded brooding hero and Beth with a wounded past. They take a chance at a temporary relationship that just might be their hea. RESCUE: COWBOY STYLE REBECCA ZANETTI 4.5* Trent and Hallie’s story is a great start to what will probably be another awesome series by Rebecca Zanetti. The world building and the characters are very interesting and intriguing. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Life can change in the blink of an eye … and that’s how these stories begin. This is three standalone short stories by these authors that end with HEAs; you don’t have to be familiar with any others books to enjoy these. Each story is an enjoyable read, two of the authors were new to me (Palmer & Zannetti). I’m very familiar with the Morgan Valley series and loved this short story linked to series by Kate Pearce. Not sure I would seek out additional reads by Palmer, but I will check out other book by Zannetti and already love Pearce. ❤️Love❤️ the wolf connection between all three and loved the twists and turners each story provided. Palmer = 3.5 Stars, Pearce & Zannetti = 5.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it. I love this collection of stories from this wonderful group of authors. I adored each of the stories. I normally try to leave a review for each story but I wasn’t feeling well while I was reading so I didn’t leave myself any notes. These three authors are my favorites. They write stories that you just get lost in. Even when sick, I really hated to stop reading! I become enchanted with each story. I would highly recommend this book of 3 stories.

A delightful trio of novellas, all featuring a wolf as a supporting character in the plot. In each case, we have alpha male heroes, strong independent heroines each needing the other for growth and redemption, and of course the wolf adding emotional and protective support. We have two stories of women on the run, and one of the women rescuing the man. We have men trying to protect the women, and of course some egos we have to work around and through. A delightful trio. Do enjoy. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher. This is my freely given, honest review.

A guy and his wolf.... That is, until these three bachelors and their wolf meets his lady match. I do so enjoy when these ladies do a bundle like Lone Wolf. I especially liked the theme of each of the men having a wolf and how the addition of a female makes a pack. Recommend. 4.5

All three books are about women who are either running from danger or trying to survive the abuse they suffered. The heroes are strong men who feel that women should be protected and cared for. The stories are well written and entertaining. I enjoyed all the stories but Pearce’s story was my favorite. This is a nice collection of books. I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley and are voluntarily leaving a review.
  • Lone Wolf anthology

Lone Wolf anthology by Diana Palmer, Kate Pearce and Rebecca Zanetti Contemporary romantic suspense. Each story has a wolf as a pet and former soldiers as the hero. Heat level tame. HEA guaranteed. Rescue: Cowboy Style by Rebecca Zanetti Hallie is on the run, being implicated in a crime she uncovered but didn’t commit. Trent and his brothers are just the ones to help her. Especially since Trent has decided to make Hallie his permanently. Riveting and intense, the former military brothers are ranchers and men of justice. They will protect and make it right. Sigh. Maybe a little less bossiness but good guys all around. My favorite line: “Instinct of a pinecone.” I really hope this group turns into a series. 5.0 The Wolf on Her Doorstep by Kate Pearce Beth Baker finds former Navy SEAL Connor O’Neal in his small rented cabin with a fever from an injury. She cleans the wound and helps Connor with food and other nursing duties. An attraction blooms and they agree it’s just a one time thing and they will move on afterwards. As Con or spends more time with Beth, he finds he wants more. An emotional story of a family moving into adulthood and a mother realizing she can support but also needs to let go, at the same time learning to love again. 4.0 Colorado Cowboy by Diana Palmer Esther runs away after seeing her mother murdered. She finds refuge with a military veteran in a small town in Colorado. They fall in love and then must deal with the consequences she left behind. A sweet and naive woman falls for the man that finds her in a snowy night and cares for her. I have a lot of thoughts on this story, mostly negative. So suffice it to say: skip to the next. 2.5 I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. I also purchased a copy to share.
