A stupendous read!!! Bernie is assisting the FBI in an homicide investigation with twists and turns at every corner. Her husband Chee is the acting Captain for the Navajo Tribal Police and is overwhelmed with the assignment. LT. Joe Leaphorn as usual is there mentor for both Chee and Bernie. As I stated earlier an stupendous read!!! Enjoyed immensely!! My highest recommendation!!

Anne’s writing is wonderful. She keeps me on the edge of my set as I attempt to guess the bad one. Waiting for the next book of Chee, Bernie and Longhorn.

I loved this story. It took only two nights to read. It kept me on my toes and I didn’t want to stop reading it. I can’t wait for the next adventures of Bernie and Chee.

Good story, well written.

The book was enjoyable and the local flavor evident. The mystery was revealed pretty early. I will certainly read more books from this author.
