One of the better Barrington books in a while.

Moved fast at beginning then got off track quickly. Same old story with parts that are unbelievable. I think author thinks his readers and followers are idiots.

I don’t why I keep buying Stuart Woods’ books. The plots are as identical as they are unimaginative. This is the last time I fall for it...something about the definition of insanity...

His book is the same every time lately. Stone gets sex. Someone trying to kill him. He travels to all his homes. Need to change it up.

I’ve read every book Woods has written to date. Yes I was a fan. There is only so many times I can read the same book with a different title. Hush Hush ended it for me. I felt used reading the same story with absolutely no new twists, no real excitement. The traveling was pointless, dangling incomplete sub themes, I.e., Holly coming to New York, ok, I’m moving on, by Stuart
  • Hush Hush not Woods’ best

First half of book is filled with too much way-too-casual sex and adolescent and glib repartee — much more than usual. One wonders is Stone will ever grow up. Also, it isn’t clear to the reader why Stone is once more the target of Russian assassins , nor why the Greek is after him. It’s Ed the latter should be angry at, not Stone. And what’s with the younger Russian being introduced? He’s an unnecessary minor distraction . Second half with all the action in Maine is better, but like some others in the series, the book ends too abruptly — as if Woods simply got tired of writing it. Finally, Woods needs a new plot line: Stone always being the target of someone wanting him dead is getting a little old.

Poorly written—amazing these pass for books. They should be reclassified as second grade reading.
