I like Colin’s view of playing to maximize EV and not using playing cover or betting cover in hopes of increasing longevity. If you get backed off, move on to the next casino. There are more casinos now than ever and there will be even more casinos in the future. I think the best advice in this book is to treat everyone with respect, including casino personnel. Some of the hardships of playing can be alleviated and some benefits can be gained just by being nice to people. I think this book would be a good starting point for anyone interested in learning about card counting as well as a worth while read for an experienced player.
