This book ultimately is a silly whodunit mystery, not to be taken too seriously. Lots of descriptions and adjectives. Sometimes it was too much and was distracting from the actual plot. Wish the characters had more depth. Brik.. a construction contractor.. come on. In the other books there may be more depth, in this book there were a lot of characters to keep track of with no real point or addition to the story.

Good clean read, but the plot moves slowly. Main characters are diverse and like able.

I enjoyed the book, although the name of the victim/bad guy drove me crazy! I wasn’t sure how it was pronounced.

Great mystery story, with plenty of laugh out loud moments, made this book hard to put down!

This is a beginning to a new series and I enjoyed this book so much, I can hardly wait for the next book. Do not miss this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Kirsten Weiss s one of my favorite authors and she has started a wonderful new series. The characters are cute and endearing. The story was a perfect cozy mystery. I’m excited for the next book
