Louise Penny is now my favorite mystery writer. Hope, once I’m finished with the book series, I’ll be able to enjoy another season on streaming of Three Pines, and watch a perfect choice of actors playing Inspector Gamache, Alfred Molina.

One of the best in the series.

I can’t get enough of Penny’s inspector Gamache series. I’ve read all but the last two now but want to savor these last two. Each one as good or better than the next. The murder mysteries are only second to the character development that I love so much. I’ll be so sad to see this series come to an end- come on Louise, keep writing!

Great book, never saw the ending. Kept my interest the entire book…I will read another in the series.

This author has a strange writing style which includes many one and two word sentences. These are grammatically incorrect.

This is, by far, my favorite series of novels I’ve ever read. Detailed, intricate plots; amazing, quirky characters; intriguing family relationships; beautiful settings. This series has it all! Louise Penny is a treasure. Most highly recommend!

Never disappointed in this series. Each book unfolds more about each of the characters . Not perfect. Each growing. Sometimes stepping back so as to move forward. Kept me riveted and when finished being sorry it was over. Can hardly wait for the next look into Three Pines! to
