Description

"If you love Susan Elizabeth Phillips for romantic comedy, and Janet Evanovich for suspense, then you'll love everything Janet Elizabeth Henderson writes!" Goodreads

There aren't many jobs available in the tiny village of Arness, Scotland, which is why Mairi Sinclair works online—as a virtual girlfriend. For a weekly fee, she emails, messages and sends photos to desk-bound geeks around the world. Nothing dodgy, mind you, she keeps her clothes on! Mairi loves her job, because the last thing she wants is to be tied down to one man forever. Life is so much simpler when you can keep men at a distance.

And that's why she's upset when her virtual boyfriends start turning up in town. Someone has hacked her online presence and given out her real life address. To make matters worse, they've told the world that she's looking for a husband and the first virtual boyfriend to romance her properly will win the role in real life. Mairi needs help to fend off the hordes. She needs help to hide and find out who sold out her details. Fortunately, local mechanic and one time boyfriend, Keir McKenzie, is more than willing to help her—for a price.

He too wants a chance to win Mairi's heart and tie her down forever.

★ A hot and steamy, second chance romance, a tiny Scottish town overrun by quirky characters, and lots of heart warming laughter.★

This book needed to be rated R. Way too descriptive for my taste..Would have been a cute story otherwise.

Laugh out loud funny, fast paced and a tad nuts! Mairi drove me a tad crazy with her attitude towards her hero but it all worked out and on to the next sisters story! Recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was a fun storyline all the characters are engaging and entertaining throughout the pages. Keri and Mairi have such chemistry together that I couldn’t stop rooting for them to work out their issues.
  • Cute idea

This was a cute idea for a book. Due to a Facebook hack, the lead character finds herself face to face with all her online geeky boyfriends who think she wants to get married. Her solution to solve the problem is cute too. What I didn’t need was the author needing to prove she could write porn. Suggestive is better than explicit.

To hold a grudge for six years for something that was done once? Come on!

I haven’t laughed this hard reading a novel in a really long time. It was adorable, compelling, and overall consuming. I read it from front to back in less than a day.
