This book, these words, these poems. Are each so beautifully written. Rudy Francisco is one of a kind. The poems are each unique and written very well. The emotions radiate off of the page. This is beautiful.

The accuracy and relatability in this book is almost like it’s trying to explain my own personal thoughts and even for those who cannot relate, it’s still an amazing read into an everyday person.

I fell in love listening to Rudy’s spoken word. His delivery and the passion in which he spoke. This book definitely lived up to my expectations. He writes with such honesty, raw emotion, and has such beautiful insight. Honestly there are times where I would read lines and they absolutely hit my heart and I thought, “how did this man dig out exactly what I was feeling and put it in front of me?!” And even reading on topics that you may not relate to as far as personal experience; they are written with such detail passion and flow that it allows you even the briefest glimpse into an experience or feeling that you may not have otherwise had the opportunity to ever experience and that is such a beautiful thing and a rare talent. I loved every bit of his book. And if he ever comes out reciting a book on audio I would buy in a heartbeat as should any fan, because hearing Rudy recite his work literally can take your breath away.
