Nice story. So sweet that after their younger “love” was so damaging and hurtful, that Dawson and Chloe could rectify things and pull it together for their young son. Wonderful HEA!

This is a very interesting and captivating second chance romance involving a couple from opposite sides of the tracks (One crazy parent that believes he and no one else knows best). The setting is so amazing love Long Valley and the cheaters are so entertaining and realistic. Dawson Blackhorse is a strong, proud and hardworking alpha male with a chip on his shoulder and uneasy feelings about letting anyone near his heart again. Chloe Bartell is a single mom raising a son she never intended to tell his father about (due to her father interfering). She is a strong, sweet and just a little sassy with an adorable son with a straightforward nature. A love to overcome years of misunderstandings and broken trust, emotionally turning and highly entertaining read.

A must read if you believe in romance. A great sit down an read in one setting as I did. True love will prevail.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I adore Erin Wright's books, with good reason. She is an exceptional writer. Her books are filled with romance and passion, steamy love scenes, wonderful characters and great storylines. Overdue For Love is about Dawson and Chloe, he has worked for Chloe's father, on his horse ranch for years, with the promise that one day it would be his ranch. Chloe has been crushing on Dawson for the last 2 years, flirting with him nonstop, but Dawson, knowing it would cost him everything he's working for, has done his best to keep his distance from her. Then Chloe's father reveals to Dawson that he does not plan to sell him the ranch, that Chloe is going to marry their neighbor and the ranch will be theirs. Dawson is devastated by this news and getting back at Chloe and her father, seduces her, verbally rips into her then leaves. 9 years later, Dawson walks into a diner and there is Chloe, working as a waitress! As if that isn't shocking enough, she has a son, Tommy, a dead ringer, mini me of Dawson! Dawson can't believe he has a son and Chloe wants nothing to do with him. She just wants him to go away and leave her and Tommy alone. A lot of hurt has happened between these 2 in the past, can they get over it and have a friendly relationship for Tommy's sake? Could they ever be more than just Tommy's parents? There's only one way to find out...Read the book!

He invested so much of himself, hoping to buy the ranch The agreement they had, he'll write him a check of what he had credit for. She's marrying and he won't be needed. 9 years later he showing her Blackhorse Ranch Did she wait, did love wait for him. What dreams came about during those years. Enjoyable love story once again by Erin.Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
