For those of you that like reading WWII books this is a must read IMO, I’ve been on a tear about the War in the Pacific and I hadn’t read much about the destroyer squadrons but this was very eye opening about how influential they were to the war overall. Admiral Halsey knew that when they held up the Solomons while grossly outmatched that they may have shortened the war considerably until the US could start its huge manufacturing processes. Trust me you will enjoy this book!
