Description

A nurse in Providence, Paige Foster never once considered purchasing a ticket to the Helping Hands Bachelor Auction. But when Aunt Bebe invites her along, she accepts, expecting nothing more than an enjoyable evening with her favorite aunt. Aunt Bebe has other plans though. By the end of the evening Paige finds herself the proud owner of four romantic dates with Scott Belmont, President Warren Sherbrooke’s nephew.

Lately billionaire Scott Belmont doesn’t have time for a social life, never mind a bachelor auction. Regardless, when his mom asks him to take part in the fundraising event, he agrees. Scott assumes he’ll take the winner on a few dates and then dismiss her from his mind. Then Paige Foster walks on stage to claim him.

Scott is not at all what she expects. Before she realizes it he’s made his way into her heart. But Paige has a secret, one she fears might send Scott walking.

From the beginning Paige intrigues him and soon Scott finds himself in love. But when an ex-girlfriend reenters his life asking for help, their new relationship is put to the test.

This book was one of the worst books I have ever read in my life ! I had to stop reading it it was so bad. The content was nothing like the explanation about the book.. NOTHING! Poor storytelling and development, incorrect grammar, & very poorly written. A college student would have done a better job. The placement of the pronouns of who’s point of view it was was so confusing. I had to keep reading the sentence repeatedly. Using the word “erection” a few times does not mean the book is steaming with intimacy as in sex. Lastly this book was so bland regardless of not being sexy, was so unoriginal just like a 100 other romance books. I felt mislead (by the book’s synopsis) to whom might have been the intended readership, more along the line of wholesome. If it was directed to a wholesome audience I have no issue with that.

Wasn’t feeling the paternity results. Skimmed much of the end. Lots of the writing is rather stilted with info that adds nothing to the story. Really didn’t love this one.

I enjoyed this story and the little twist near the end. It ended with a HEA and no cliffhanger.

Enjoyed the book, but felt like someone pruned to many pages out of the book to fit a specific number of pages. It left me hanging in to many places. It would end with a question and then pick back up 2 weeks later. Too many details were left out.
