Lance Townsend just got out of the Army after 8 years and was going to fulfill his bucket list by traveling. First stop was Vegas. However, his plans were changed when he received a letter from his best friend Chris asking him to check in on his sister and daughter if anything were to happen to him, so Lance's first stop is in North Carolina. The only problem is Chris' little sister Carly, she is the one woman he has never been able to forget.
Tempting Mr. Wrong was a cute, light-hearted, and lovable story. I loved the fact that Lance came in with the idea that he was going to just check in and leave. Instead he fell in love with Mya and quit trying to fight his attraction to Carly. Lance wanted his freedom after have a regimen of strictness between his mother and the Army, but his travels just aren't the same anymore because he misses his girls. He realizes this and goes back to NC to be with them and they begin traveling together, making everything worth it and his life full.
For a relaxing night, this is the book to read!

Fantastic story! I truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend to any that love a good "falling for your best friends sister" romance. Only in this story the best friend, Chris, dies and leaves his daughter, Mya, with his younger sister, Carly, and calls upon his best friend, Lance, in a letter, to check up on them and help Carly with the house.
The story is full of sorrow, possibilities, friendship, freedom and love. It has one of the cutest little girls in it and all she wants is a family again. It is well written and contains awesome characters. I can't wait to see if Adam gets his own story!

Carly has been raising her four-year-old niece since the death of her brother and sister-in-law. She found a letter her brother had written to his best friend, who turned her down at her brother's wedding, and sent it along without reading it. Imagine her surprise when Lance shows up on her doorstep as soon as he's discharged from the Army.
Lance has followed strict rules and schedules his whole life. He's looking forward to the trip of a lifetime when he's discharged from the Army, until he receives the letter written by his best friend before his death. His request: look after his daughter and sister and make sure they and the fixer-upper house are doing ok. Lance walked away from Carly's advances at the wedding not because he wasn't interested but because he didn't think her brother would approve.
I loved this story. Carly and Lance have some definite chemistry and I couldn't put the book down until I saw how it would all unfold. Maya was adorable and all of the side characters created an amazing support system for this little girl who tragically lost both of her parents. I will definitely be going back to read John's story and am hoping that Adam will get his own book.
