Romance, intrigue, well written. Really kept my interest from beginning to end. Great story.

Could not put this down. Great mix of mystery and romance. Not a trashy "historical romance." Great character development. Would love to read a sequel.

Great read, story kept you from putting it down.

Im a guy. I started this book because it had a train on the cover. Romances are not my cup of tea, but this story is a cup of earl grey, with two dollops of real cream, and four sugars, on an express train journey with frequent unexpected twists and turns. I read it in a very short time because it held my interest. Great story. Next time set the story on a moving train of the period, ala Sherlock Holmes. Thanks for a great read.

The beginning of this story is harsh and touching. I had tears in my eyes at all that Elizabeth saw. Elizabeth survives a horrific train wreck and meets Paul. There is a lot that stands between them and a happily ever after. For me it was an emotional journey and I highly recommend this book.
