I have always been fascinated by Cortes and the Aztec empire. This book is an intriguing synopsis of his exploits - not overly long but detailed enough to give meat to the bones of history. The story does not glorify Cortes but neither does it diminish the warrior life of the Aztec empire. I enjoyed this book. Thanks!

To me this book seems so pro Cortez and like the old cowboy and Indian days made the indigenous people come across as stupid!
